Who stands behind VegasNow betting, and which licence applies

Just Entertainment B.V., company 160603 in Curaçao, runs our sportsbook and our casino, and both trade on licence OGL/2024/164/0246 from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, held since 13 August 2024 and listed as active. The public certificate names the approved domains, so you can match them against your browser's address bar, and our licensing page walks through the record.

One account means one set of player tools, so deposit limits and self-exclusion cover sport too. The licence is not Australian, which changes how national self-exclusion applies; see the responsible betting section.

Sports, In-Play, Virtual Sports and Esports: the four VegasNow tabs

Sports is the pre-match board: pick a sport, then a league, or narrow things down using the Top leagues filter or the Upcoming view. In-Play lists events already running; prices move fast there, and a bet can be declined if the odds shift before it is accepted. Virtual Sports are computer-generated events with results of their own, unconnected to any real fixture, so form and team news are irrelevant. Esports covers video-game competition, settled game by game; the CS2 rules, for instance, deal with map bets where a team pulls out or a player loses connection.

Which sports have written rules

Roughly 40 sports have settlement sections in our Sportsbook Rules. They include Australian Rules, Rugby League, Cricket, Netball and Rugby Union, plus Tennis, Basketball, Golf, soccer, Darts, Snooker, Motor Racing and fight sports (Boxing, MMA, UFC). Horses and greyhounds are dealt with in a dedicated racing section. A written rule set tells you how bets are graded, not that every AFL or NRL fixture is priced, so check the Sports tab on the day.

Single, express or system? VegasNow bet types with a worked example

Our slip uses a few names that differ from local bookmakers. A single is one selection, a straight bet; a winner returns stake × decimal odds, stake included. An express is a multi: two or more selections on one ticket, odds multiplied, every leg needing to win. A system is a combination bet that splits your picks into smaller multis, so one losing leg only knocks out the lines it sits in.

Three picks, A$36 either way

Take selections priced at 1.40, 2.50 and 1.75. As an express, A$36 on the combined price of 1.40 × 2.50 × 1.75 = 6.125 returns A$220.50 if all three win, a profit of A$184.50. A common system on three picks is three doubles. At A$12 each the outlay is again A$36, and the doubles are priced 3.50 (1.40 × 2.50), 2.45 (1.40 × 1.75) and 4.375 (2.50 × 1.75), returning A$42.00, A$29.40 and A$52.50.

ResultExpress, A$36System, three A$12 doubles
All three picks winA$220.50A$123.90
The 1.40 pick losesA$0A$52.50
The 2.50 pick losesA$0A$29.40

Lose the 1.40 leg and the surviving double returns A$52.50, A$16.50 more than you put in. Lose the 2.50 leg and A$29.40 comes back, A$6.60 short of the outlay. A system cushions a miss without always turning it into a profit, and your slip shows how the system you choose is built and priced.

Where a VegasNow multi can come unstuck

Void legs. A voided selection, or one whose stake is returned, is settled at odds of 1 and so drops out of the price. Void the 1.75 pick above and the express becomes 1.40 × 2.50 = 3.50, returning A$126.00 on A$36 if the other two land. Each sport's settlement section defines what counts as void.

Linked picks. An express or system ticket cannot hold two selections from the same match, or a pair of bets on one player in a single tournament. If a ticket like that is accepted by mistake, the stake is refunded instead of settled.

Group bets. Repeatedly backing the same outcomes, alone or with linked customers, is not allowed and can lead to a review.

VegasNow's 100% sports offer and the x3 rule, worked through

New customers find the sports offer on the Promotions page: 100% up to A$200, beside a Deposit and Bet now button, while the Sports landing page calls it a 100% free bet capped at A$200. The terms page behind it, not the headline, decides how the money lands, what odds and markets count and when winnings unlock. On the headline alone, A$75 deposited points to up to A$75 extra, and A$350 still stops at A$200.

The casino package (up to A$8,000 and 500 spins) is a separate thing: its terms restrict it to casino and live-casino play, so it cannot fund a bet slip. Our welcome bonus page covers it. The weekly promotion, listed as Bet on Sports Weekly: Lucky Score & Spin, pays in free spins; read its conditions first.

How the x3 rule counts

Rule 2.2 of the Sportsbook Rules sets the multiple at three unless a different figure is stated, and until each deposit has been bet that many times, a withdrawal can be refused. Our general terms (v2.3) say the same.

  • Stakes count, not odds or winnings: A$20 on a 1.40 single adds the same A$20 as A$20 on a 6.125 express.
  • A bet counts once it is accepted and settled. Winning and losing bets both count; cancelled bets and refunded stakes do not.
  • Every deposit has its own target. A$80 on Saturday plus A$50 on Sunday means A$240 + A$150 = A$390.

If your weekend shows A$310 staked, including a A$45 bet voided with the stake returned, A$265 counts and A$125 remains.

Funding bets and collecting winnings at VegasNow

Your sports stakes come out of the cashier you already use for the casino. In the Australian table, the minimum is A$30 for Visa, Mastercard or MiFinity and A$25 for Cashtocode, a single card deposit can reach A$10,000, and coins including BTC, ETH and USDT carry per-coin minimums. PayID, POLi and Neosurf are not part of that table.

MiFinity pays out between A$30 and A$4,000 a request, bank wire between A$300 and A$6,000, and crypto varies by coin; every method must be in your name. Daily, weekly and monthly caps apply, and big wins may arrive in instalments, as our withdrawals page explains. The Sportsbook Rules add that nothing is paid before full verification. We may also ring to confirm your number, and if it is wrong or nobody answers, the rules allow winnings to be confiscated.

Cash-out, odds movements and stake limits at VegasNow

Cash-out settles a bet early where the market allows it. Some two-outcome markets never offer it, and a cash-out applied where it should not have been can be recalculated.

Odds moves. If a price moves while you are placing the bet, a notice appears on the slip and the bet can wait for your approval. The Accept odds change setting skips that step, which is quicker In-Play but means taking the new price, whatever it is.

Stake ceilings differ by sport, event and market, can shift without warning, and may be set for an individual account with no reason given.

Late and locked bets. If a pre-match bet gets through once the event is already running, it can be voided at odds of 1, returning the stake. A registered bet cannot be cancelled by you.

Account checks under the VegasNow Sportsbook Rules

Each bet is governed by the rules current at the time you place it. We may revise them without telling you individually, but bets already on keep their original terms. We may run identity, credit or video verification. Document checks may run for as long as 30 days and a review of your betting history for as long as 180, and we may want evidence of where deposited money comes from, bank statements for example. Several players on one IP address, computer or local network is not permitted, and we can block linked accounts and void their bets.

Responsible betting: VegasNow limits, self-exclusion and BetStop

Studying form can make sport feel predictable, but any ticket can lose. Decide what a round or a week is worth to you before opening the Sports tab, and never chase a loss with bigger stakes. Deposit limits in your VegasNow account apply to sport too.

BetStop is the National Self-Exclusion Register for Australian-licensed wagering providers. VegasNow holds a Curaçao licence, so signing up to BetStop does not by itself shut your account with us: use the self-exclusion tool in your account, or ask support to apply it. For counselling that costs nothing and stays confidential, call Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858 or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au. Our responsible gambling page lists every account tool.

Questions and answers

Can Australians bet on sports at VegasNow?

Yes. Players registered from Australia reach our sportsbook through the Sports tab of their existing VegasNow account, so there is no second sign-up. Inside are pre-match markets, In-Play, Virtual Sports and Esports, plus a sports Promotions page. Stakes come from the same cashier as your casino play, and bets settle under our Sportsbook Rules.

Which licence covers VegasNow sports betting?

The casino's own: OGL/2024/164/0246, granted to Just Entertainment B.V. (Curaçao company 160603) by Curaçao's Gaming Authority and active since 13 August 2024. Anyone can open the certificate at cert.cga.cw and see the approved domains. It is not a licence from an Australian regulator.

How does the VegasNow sports welcome bonus work?

It is shown as 100% up to A$200, or as a 100% free bet capped at A$200 on the Sports landing page. On the headline, a A$150 deposit points to up to A$150 extra. Crediting, qualifying odds and markets, and when winnings unlock are all set by the offer's own terms page.

Can I use VegasNow casino bonus money on sports bets?

No. The casino package, worth as much as A$8,000 and 500 spins over four deposits, covers casino and live-casino games only, and its terms keep bonus funds away from sport. The sportsbook has its own new-customer deal, 100% up to A$200, under separate terms that are worth reading first.

Does VegasNow take bets on AFL, NRL and cricket?

Australian Rules, Rugby League and Cricket all have settlement sections in our Sportsbook Rules, as do Netball, Rugby Union and many others, about 40 sports in total. Written rules explain grading; they do not mean every match is priced. Check the Sports tab, or In-Play once play starts, to see what is open that day.

What happens to a VegasNow multi if one leg is void?

That leg counts at odds of 1, dropping out of the sum, so the rest of the express stands at the combined price of the other legs. With 1.40, 2.50 and 1.75 on A$36, voiding the 1.75 leaves 3.50, a A$126.00 return if both remaining picks win.

Why might VegasNow hold back a sports withdrawal?

Our Sportsbook Rules name three reasons. Each deposit needs three times its value in accepted, settled bets unless another figure applies. The account must be fully verified, and documents can take up to 30 days. We may also call to confirm your phone number, and winnings can be confiscated if it is wrong or the call goes unanswered.

Does BetStop block my VegasNow account?

Not on its own. BetStop covers Australian-licensed wagering providers, and VegasNow is licensed in Curaçao. To exclude yourself from us, use the self-exclusion tool in your account or ask our support team to apply it. Registering with BetStop still covers local bookmakers, and free help is a phone call away at Gambling Help Online, 1800 858 858.
