500 free spins across your first four deposits
The welcome package releases its free spins in four batches: 200, 50, 50 and 200. Each Friday adds 40 more per qualifying deposit. This page explains how a batch is released, how long you have to use it, and what happens to the money the spins win.
- 500 welcome spins
- 40 Friday spins per deposit
- A$300 spin winnings cap

Where VegasNow free spins come from
Free spins reach your account by three routes. The largest is the welcome package, which attaches a batch of spins to each of your first four deposits for a total of 500. The second is the weekly promotions calendar, where Friday Night Spotlight pays 40 spins per qualifying Friday deposit and two further offers, Free Spins Flush and 7-Deadly Spins, are built around spin drops. The third is indirect: loyalty points can be exchanged for bonus funds, which you can then play on any eligible slot.
All three routes share the same basic rule. A free spin costs you nothing to play, but what it wins is credited as bonus money, not cash, and that bonus money carries 40× wagering before it can be withdrawn. Understanding that one rule explains most of the questions players ask about spins.
The rest of this page concentrates on the welcome batches, because their conditions are published in full. For the Friday spins and the other spin promotions, the qualifying deposit, the code and the featured game are shown on the offer in your account, and our weekly promotions page covers what is published about them.
The four welcome batches
Every batch is tied to a deposit, and each deposit from the second onwards needs its code.
Codes for batches two to four →| Batch | Deposit | Spins | Match on the same deposit | Code |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One | 1st | 200 | 150% up to A$1,500 | None |
| Two | 2nd | 50 | 100% up to A$2,000 | VEGAS2 |

Batch sizes at a glance
How a batch is released
Three steps take a batch from your deposit to the reels.
Make the qualifying deposit
At least A$20 or equivalent, or the payment method's minimum if that is higher. Card and MiFinity deposits start at A$30. Enter the code on deposits two to four.
Wager the deposit once
The free spin part of each stage is released after your deposit has been wagered 1×. A A$50 deposit needs A$50 of play first.
Activate within the period shown
Free spins have their own activation period, separate from the seven-day window on the match. The offer shows how long you have.
Play and track the winnings
The spins run on the game named on the offer. Their winnings appear as bonus funds with 40× wagering attached.
Worked example: the first batch
You make a first deposit of A$60 by card. The 150% match adds A$90, and the 200 free spins for stage one are queued. You play A$60 of slots from your balance, which wagers the deposit once, and the spins are released.
Over the 200 spins, suppose the winnings total A$34. That A$34 is credited as bonus funds and needs 40 × A$34 = A$1,360 of qualifying wagering. Meanwhile the A$90 match bonus carries its own 40× requirement of A$3,600, with seven days from activation to complete it.
| Line | Figure |
|---|---|
| First deposit | A$60 |
| Deposit wagering before spins release (1×) | A$60 |
| Free spins released | 200 |
| Example spin winnings | A$34 |
| Wagering on spin winnings (40×) | A$1,360 |
| Most that spin winnings can convert to | A$300 |
| 150% match on the same deposit | A$90 |
| Wagering on the match (40×) | A$3,600 |
What different spin results lead to
The A$300 cap on welcome spin winnings only matters on a strong run. Here is how a batch might play out.
| Spin winnings credited | Wagering at 40× | Most that can be cashed out |
|---|---|---|
| A$0 | None | Nothing to convert |
| A$12 | A$480 | A$12, once wagering is complete |
| A$75 | A$3,000 | A$75, once wagering is complete |
| A$300 | A$12,000 | A$300 |
| A$480 | A$19,200 | A$300; the rest cannot be cashed out |
These are illustrations rather than predictions. What a batch of spins pays depends entirely on the game and on chance, and many batches return modest sums. The balance also moves while you wager, so the amount that eventually converts can be higher or lower than the figure first credited, subject to the cap.
Wagering spin winnings efficiently
Spin winnings follow the same contribution table as any other bonus money. Slots count 100%, with some listed exceptions, roulette counts 25%, blackjack and game shows count 10% and baccarat does not count. In practice that means spin winnings are almost always worked through on pokies.
A few habits make the process smoother. Keep each stake at A$8 or less while the bonus is active, because a bigger bet breaches the terms. Choose stake sizes that let the requirement be reached in a realistic number of spins: A$1,360 of wagering at A$0.50 a spin is 2,720 spins, while at A$2 it is 680. And use the game information panel to understand a slot before you commit time to it; our pages on Gates of Olympus and Elvis Frog in Vegas set out the published RTP and features of two popular choices.
Return to player is a long-run average measured over a very large number of spins. It does not describe what will happen in a single session, and it should not be read as a promise about a batch of free spins.
Free spins in the weekly calendar
Three of our nine weekly promotions are built around spins. Only Friday's has published headline figures.
Full weekly calendar →Friday Night Spotlight
Every Friday, 40 free spins per qualifying deposit on a featured game that changes each week. Repeatable, with the code shown on the offer.
Free Spins Flush
A spin-based promotion on the calendar. The qualifying deposit, spin count and game are shown on the offer in your account.
7-Deadly Spins
Another spin promotion. Its conditions are shown on the offer rather than published in full, so read them before opting in.
Same core rules
Unless the offer says otherwise, the general terms apply: 40× wagering, up to seven days, A$8 maximum bet, one active bonus.
A Friday example
Suppose the welcome package is finished and it is Friday. You deposit with the code shown on Friday Night Spotlight and receive 40 free spins on that week's featured game. The spins return A$16. Under the default 40× rule that A$16 needs A$640 of qualifying play. If you clear it and make another qualifying deposit later the same evening, you can receive another 40 spins, because the offer is repeatable.
Two points to watch. First, the featured game changes weekly, so the spins from one Friday may run on a different slot from the next. Second, because only one bonus can be active at a time, a new batch cannot be stacked on top of an unfinished one. Clear or forfeit the current bonus first.
The closing batch on deposit four
The fourth stage pairs a 25% match up to A$2,500 with another 200 spins, which makes it the second large spin batch of the package. Because the match percentage is low, some players make a modest fourth deposit mainly for the spins. A A$100 deposit with VEGAS4 adds a A$25 match carrying A$1,000 of wagering, and once the A$100 has been wagered once, the 200 spins are released.
If those spins return A$58, the winnings need 40 × A$58 = A$2,320 of qualifying play and can convert in full, since A$58 is under the A$300 cap. Across the whole package, then, a player depositing A$100 four times receives all 500 spins, and the size of each deposit only changes the match, not the number of spins in the batch.
Common reasons a batch goes wrong
Most spin problems come down to one of these.
- The code for stages two to four was left out or typed with a space, so the stage was not applied to that deposit.
- The deposit had not yet been wagered once, so the spins were still waiting to be released.
- Another bonus was still active, and only one bonus can run at a time.
- The activation period passed before the spins were used.
- A stake above A$8 was placed while the bonus was active.
- The deposit was below the payment method minimum, which is A$30 for cards and MiFinity.
If something looks wrong, contact our team through the support page before making another deposit, so the stage can be checked on your account.

Which game are the spins on?
The game is named on the offer in your account. For Friday Night Spotlight the featured game changes every week.
Are free spin winnings paid as cash?
No. They are credited as bonus funds with 40× wagering. Once the wagering is complete they can be withdrawn, up to A$300 or equivalent for welcome spin winnings.
Do I need a code for the 200 spins on my first deposit?
No. Batch one needs no code. Batches two, three and four use VEGAS2, VEGAS3 and VEGAS4.
Can I get free spins without depositing?
No. Every confirmed free spin offer is tied to a deposit. Our no deposit page explains the position in full.
