Two parts: a loyalty ladder and a VIP Lounge

Every real-money player is on the loyalty programme from the first bet. The VIP Lounge, called Sin City, is separate and works by selection.

The loyalty programme

Seven levels themed on Las Vegas venues. You earn points through real-money play, move up as status points build, and exchange redeemable points for bonuses in the Loyalty Store.

The Sin City VIP Lounge

A separate tier for players selected on dedication and regular activity, with benefits such as higher betting limits and a dedicated VIP account manager.

How the loyalty programme works

Our loyalty programme has seven levels, each named after a Las Vegas-style venue, from Golden Glimmer at the start to Bella Vista at the top. Some levels are split into numbered steps, such as Golden Glimmer I, II and III. You climb by collecting status points, and you spend redeemable points in the Loyalty Store. The two are earned together on pokies, but they do different jobs: status points decide your level, redeemable points are what you exchange for a bonus.

Points come from real-money play: our published earning rates are stated per amount wagered with real money. A session funded by your own deposit is what builds the loyalty balance. That is worth knowing if you are weighing up whether to take a bonus or decline it.

Higher levels get better exchange rates in the Loyalty Store. The published rows below show how the value of a point improves as you climb. Our loyalty programme page carries the current table, and your account shows your own level and balance once you sign in.

Earning rates

How many points real-money play earns

Rates depend on the type of game. Pokies earn fastest.

Game typeReal-money wager per pointWhat you earnPoints per A$1,000 wagered
Pokies (slots)A$251 redeemable point and 1 status point40
RouletteA$1001 point10
BlackjackA$2501 point4
BaccaratA$2501 point4

The difference between game types is large. A$1,000 wagered on pokies earns 40 points; the same A$1,000 on roulette earns 10, and on blackjack or baccarat it earns 4. Table players climb more slowly, which mirrors how much each game type contributes to bonus wagering too: pokies generally 100%, roulette 25%, blackjack and game shows 10%, baccarat 0%. Our pokies page and live casino page cover the games themselves.

The ladder

Published level thresholds

These are the levels and status-point thresholds we publish. Intermediate steps exist between them, but not every row is published, so we list only the ones that are.

  1. 01Golden Glimmer I starting level
  2. 02Golden Glimmer II 600 status points
  3. 03Golden Glimmer III 2,000 status points
  4. 04Gondola Grand I 500,000 status points
  5. 05Julius Palace III 3,000,000 status points
  6. 06Bella Vista 5,000,000 status points

Parisian Palace Las Vegas is another named level and appears in the Loyalty Store table below. Seven levels make up the full programme.

What those thresholds mean in real wagering

Because pokies earn 1 status point per A$25 wagered, each threshold converts directly into an amount of pokie play. It is worth seeing those figures plainly, because they put the upper levels in perspective.

Golden Glimmer II at 600 status points equals A$15,000 wagered on pokies. Golden Glimmer III at 2,000 status points equals A$50,000. Gondola Grand I at 500,000 status points equals A$12,500,000 of pokie wagering, and Bella Vista at 5,000,000 status points equals A$125,000,000.

Wagering is the total of all bets, not the money you deposit or lose. A A$1 spin repeated a thousand times is A$1,000 wagered, even if your balance moved by much less. Still, those totals show that the upper levels are built for a very small number of very high-volume players. For most people, the early Golden Glimmer steps and the Loyalty Store are the part of the programme that matters, and the loyalty points are a small extra on play you were going to do anyway, not a reason to play more.

Exchanging points for bonuses

The minimum exchange is 200 points. Higher levels get better rates.

LevelPoints exchangedBonus receivedValue per 100 points
Golden Glimmer200A$5A$2.50
Golden Glimmer (saved-up example)2,000A$60A$3.00
Parisian Palace Las Vegas750A$20about A$2.67
Bella Vista100,000A$5,000A$5.00

At Golden Glimmer, you can exchange 200 points at a time for A$5 each, or save up: our published example is 2,000 points for A$60, compared with A$50 if the same points were exchanged in ten lots of 200. Saving pays a little more, but only if you would have earned the points anyway.

Bonuses from points carry 40× wagering

A bonus bought with loyalty points is still a bonus. It carries 40× wagering, and our general bonus terms apply to it: a maximum stake of A$8 while it is active, a maximum validity of 7 days, one active bonus at a time, and the game contribution rates above. Full wording sits in our bonus terms and conditions.

Here is a complete worked example. You wager A$5,000 on pokies with real money. That earns 200 redeemable points and 200 status points. At Golden Glimmer, the 200 points exchange for a A$5 bonus. The bonus then needs 40 × A$5 = A$200 of qualifying bets. Played on pokies that count 100%, that is A$200 of spins; played on roulette at 25%, it would take A$800 of bets to clear.

Put another way, the Golden Glimmer exchange returns about A$5 for every A$5,000 of pokie wagering, roughly one dollar per thousand, before the 40× is met. It is a modest reward and should be read as one. If you already have a bonus active, finish or decline it before exchanging points, because only one bonus can run at a time.

Same stake, different games

A$2,000 of real-money play, four ways

How the same total wagered translates into loyalty points, and how it would count toward bonus wagering if a bonus were active.

Where the A$2,000 is wageredLoyalty points earnedBonus wagering contributionCounts toward wagering
Pokies80 (plus 80 status points)100% (exceptions apply)A$2,000
Roulette2025%A$500
Blackjack810%A$200
Baccarat80%A$0

The pokies row is the only one where both point types are stated, which is why pokie play is the quickest route to the 600 status points needed for Golden Glimmer II. At A$2,000 of pokie wagering a month, that threshold arrives in the eighth month, after A$16,000 of total wagering has passed the A$15,000 mark. Table play builds points far more slowly, and it is worth knowing that before you set any expectations.

None of this is a reason to switch games. Pick what you enjoy at a stake you are comfortable with. The table simply explains why two players who wager the same amount can end the month with very different point balances, and why a roulette player will take four times as long as a pokies player to reach the 200-point minimum exchange.

Using the store sensibly

A few habits that keep points working for you

  • Check your level before exchanging. Rates improve as you climb, so the same points can buy more after a level change.
  • Decide between small and saved. At Golden Glimmer, 200 points buys A$5 and 2,000 points buys A$60. Saving is better value, as long as you are not playing extra to get there.
  • Clear any running bonus first. Only one bonus can be active at a time, so finish or decline the current one before you exchange.
  • Plan for the 40×. Exchange when you have time to meet the wagering inside 7 days, at no more than A$8 per stake.
  • Know which balance is which. Redeemable points are what the store takes; status points are what move you up the levels. Your account shows both.

How the Lounge sits alongside our standard limits

Every VegasNow account works within the same published payment ranges unless we agree otherwise. Deposits run from A$30 to A$10,000 by credit card and A$30 to A$4,000 by MiFinity. Withdrawals run from A$30 to A$4,000 by MiFinity and A$300 to A$6,000 per request on Inpay, PayAnyBank and wire. Large amounts may be paid in instalments, and our terms set daily, weekly and monthly account caps. Our payments and withdrawals pages list every range.

For VIP members, those withdrawal or daily limits may be set differently at our discretion. What does not change is the groundwork: payment methods in your own name, verification completed before a payout, and deposits wagered 3× before related funds can be withdrawn. A VIP account manager can explain how any different limits apply to your account specifically.
