How we write the guides

• We stick to widely accepted hair care practice and avoid miracle claims.
• We don't sell products and don't accept payment to mention brands.
• Where health is involved, such as scalp problems, hair loss or allergic reactions to dye, we point you to a pharmacist or doctor.
• We review the guides regularly and update them when advice changes.

What we are not
